Overnight stay in the Rochlitz Muldental Valley

The Seelitz Youth and Community Center is located in the idyllic Muldental valley near Rochlitz and invites pilgrims, groups, and travelers alike to stop and stay awhile. Here, guests will find a place for connection, relaxation, and community—right in the heart of nature along the Luther Trail in Saxony.

The house offers space for up to 30 guests. Two cozy mattress dormitories (each with 10–12 sleeping places) and a separate leader’s room with two beds are available. A fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with showers and toilets, as well as a welcoming common room create ideal conditions to rest, exchange experiences, and recharge after an eventful day of pilgrimage. Whether it’s a hearty meal after a long day of hiking, a piece of cake to take a breather, or a refreshing drink at a sunny rest stop – everywhere you can recharge your energy and discover the regional cuisine.

At Aucherbach's Cellar Restaurant, for example, pilgrims receive a free pilgrim’s soup upon presenting their pilgrim’s pass with six stamps. The Nimbschen Monastery Ruins and the Golden Lion Castle Tavern in Bad Düben also combine culinary breaks with historic places where the Reformation and Luther’s influence can still be felt today.
