From Dreiheide, the path leads through a unique heath landscape. Martin Luther was verifiably here in 1535 when he visited the Süptitz Church. At that time, Süptitz was known as a wine-growing area, and the Elector sent Süptitz wine to Luther several times. Torgau impresses with its historic old town, which can be reached through the city park. The marketplace invites you to linger here. As a former residence of the electors, it is one of the places of origin of the Reformation. A must-see is Hartenfels Castle with its castle church. Here Luther consecrated the castle chapel in 1544. A special highlight is St. Mary's Church with the gravestone of Katharina Luther.
