From Wermsdorf to Glossen, you pass the Döllnitz reservoir and the Horstsee, where you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the landscape, over meadows and along streams. Nestled in the extensive forests of the Dahlen Heath recreational area lies the state-recognized resort Wermsdorf. Wermsdorf, which at the time belonged to the Grimma district, had already introduced the Reformation in 1529. Therefore, Luther followers often attended the Protestant service in Mahlis because the nearby Oschatz still adhered to the old faith at that time. In the district of Collm stands Saxony's oldest linden tree, over 1,000 years old, under which Luther is said to have rested.
