Tourist Information Wermsdorf

Wermsdorf, which was first mentioned in a document in 1206, owes its current fame beyond the borders of Saxony to its scenic attractions and its interesting history, which has been shaped by Saxon history. Even the Saxon rulers, including Augustus the Strong, used to relax in Wermsdorf. Since 2004, Wermsdorf has officially held the title of "state-approved resort". Our tourist information office is located in the old hunting lodge, the older and smaller of the two Wermsdorf castles. To make your visit as pleasant as possible, we will be happy to provide you with information and answer any questions you may have.
