The Leisnig Tourist Office is located in the historic, beautifully restored Stadtgut in Leisnig’s Old Town. A tourist office housed in a building that’s about 500 years old, featuring a historic Renaissance ceiling, an original built-in cabinet, and murals—that alone makes it worth a visit. This building also houses an exhibition on Leisnig’s “Kastenordnung” and church music.

Information on current events, the town and region, Mildenstein Castle and the Leisnig Giant’s Boot, dining and lodging options, hiking trails and other tourist attractions, guest restroom, accessible restroom. Free provision of:City maps; information on dining and lodging; hiking routes to sights in the city; flyers and brochures featuring current or ongoing cultural and tourism offerings from Leisnig and the region; sale of: souvenirs, postcards, literature on the history of the city and the region, hiking maps, direct sales of event tickets, organization of city tours with or without dining options, and mailing (upon request) of informational material about the city and events
