Lake Hainer
At just under 600 hectares, Lake Hainer is one of the largest lakes in the Leipzig Neuseenland region. Located about a 20-minute drive from the city limits of Leipzig, it offers not only relaxation but also a wide range of water sports.
Idyllically nestled in the historic village of Kahnsdorf, the Kahnsdorf Lagoon is located on the southern shore of Lake Hainer. You can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the 2-kilometer-long promenade, lined with boat houses, vacation homes, a sailing school, and boat rentals. Not far from there is also the small Kahnsdorf sandy beach, complete with a beach volleyball court and its own dock.
On the north shore, at the newly built camping and RV park, water lovers can also take a dip in the cool water.
